InGo's Authorizer Widget has received an upgrade! Now, you can track the actual registration/unique/badge ID of the individual registering for your event with their InGo record. The modification is a simple one to the existing Authorizer code snippet.
It functions just like any other data-value/parameter. Simply add 1 additional line to the Authorizer's code snippet and insert your data-value/merge parameter to populate the field on the Confirmation/Thank you page of your event's workflow.
You can programmatically insert your data-value/merge parameter and it will populate the code snippet upon successful confirmation. The value is stored as a string value, and retrieved as one, so anything can be inserted as long as it doesn't exceed 255 characters.
Setup Your Authorizer
- Config the Authorizer to capture this additional data-value/merge parameter
- Test it on a test workflow or pathway and view the source of the website upon successful completion to ensure that the registrant's badge/unique ID is being generated.
- Retrieve the unique ID by retrieving your events registrant with <code>/1.0/events/<<uuid>>/registrants?external_registration_id=THEIDOFTHEREGISTRANT</code>
